He can run the point on the highest level simply because he knows when to get rid of the ball and to who it should go to and at what spot on the court. His issue will be, will he play for a coach that will know how to use him and how to max his efforts on D. He is not good at staying in front of small point guards in full court pressure but he knows how to use his length in a half court D set. So a good coach would know when and where to play him on D. When I coached him (13U-15U), I played him at the top of our 2-3 because he was not physical enough to bang but had long arms and could get the long rebounds making him a very good rebounder. I think what people fail to realize him when they see him now is that doesn't know how to play the 2,3,or 4 nor does he have the confidence to score like those positions require you to do. This only his second year playing without the ball in his hands and it is a good thing to learn but it's gonna take time for him to get confident with it, hence, the reason he passes up open shots. He will be alright.

In the article last week from Boo, Kyle did not mention Gtown, it was just an oversite on his part. He doesn't like speaking to reporters or doing interviews so he just rattles off anything. He loves Gtown and coach Cox and Thompson. I am even surprised he said ACC, he has always said he wants to play in the Big East, but he is a kid. Coach Cox and I have corresponded this week so Gtown is still in there!

Yea, he felt terrible about it, but he understands that life goes on. We are not sure where he will go but St Pat's, St Anthony's and Hudson Catholic are all within 10-15 miles of us. Not hard to figure out our choices, lol. On another note, had a great conversation with Coach Cox last week. He said they will be following Lil Kyle all of July. I'll keep you posted on our choice!
