Is now down to Utah St. and Georgetown. ESPN grades him at a 91 and has this to say: Heslip has burst onto the recruiting scene with his tough hard-nosed play and his ability to shoot the basketball. He has a great stroke from deep and plays with a great pace and confidence. 3 star unranked on scout and scout. From toronto. 6'2" PG/SG supposedly a dead eye shooter highlights http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GmW3RIU7Fao seems like he pulled a hollis and enrolled in january so there's some debate about whether he'd be eligible right away or not.

And Gtown has some of the best 3pt shooters in the country, so his one strength is not a big need. Now if he wants to walk-on, then he would be a nice addition. But certainly not worth burning the scholly with all the great guards Gtown already has, and has coming in. More importantly, it was nice to hear a little Old School Naughty By Nature. Especially when your guards aren't athletic and are poor defenders??? Just sayin'. That said--how does a slow footed guard who got no run at BC fit in? Answer--he DOESNT.

He is visiting Gtown now. We will see how he does in runs with the guys. He will only get offered if can hold his own and a certainly player leaves to free up a schollie spot, which may happen. No need to go crazy, as it is not an integral piece.
