Didn't we say a year ago that there was no way Mitchell was getting into college, but certain others kept saying he was in good academic standing and why are we not talking about him.

For some strange reason, Shelby's mom reminds me of Rakeem's aunt.   Funny how all the these things go sideways during Camps/AAU tournaments.  Of course the demtha folks can tell you about Shelby's nonexistent efforts in the classroom.  Wonder how he got his grades up at Lake Clifton.

I absolutely luv this kid.  I would go down to memphis is pick Jalen up tonight.  For real.  The ironic thing is that he loved Gtown because of the great relationships he had with the players and JT3, but he went to memphis for all of the wrong reasons.  Markel, call ya boi.

He has never wanted to stay in state.  Might happen, but not a given by any stretch.  Tech is loaded, and he hardly knows the UGA staff.  So that is the last place a kid like Jelan needs to be.

Without getting into a diagnosis about a kid on a message board, his issues are treatable.  In fact Pops had his share of players with just a little bit of a temper issue in the past  He is not a criminal like the guys on the nova/wvu/cus/uconn/l'ville teams.
