"Team Takeover power forward Mikael Hopkins told NBE after his team's match-up with City Rocks that he has offers from Clemson and Maryland. Others showing interest in the 6-foot-8 player from DeMatha include Florida, Texas, Georgetown, West Virginia and Xavier.

Dallas (TX) native has had a strong Big East following this July
A strong performance earlier this month at the Reebok All-American camp has allowed LeBryan Nash to solidify his status of one of the best players in the class of 2011. The 6-foot-7 Dallas (TX) Lincoln High School small forward has been seeing plenty of attention from college recruiters, including many in the Big East.
At the recently completed Desert Duel Memorial Tournament, Nash, playing for the Dallas Mustangs, told NBE's Dough Ferguson that Syracuse, Marquette, Georgetown, Louisville and Villanova were the schools from the Big East in the recruiting mix currently for his services. Hoya head coach John Thompson III was very visible Tuesday night at the Duel watching Nash in action against the I-Can All-Stars.
