Very tough grind it out game. few thoughts:

1. JT3 said Hollis pulled something in his leg. he looked ok but not a 100%. did not want to call him a decoy but said that b/c rutgers had to respect hollis outside it opened up some space down low. we had success feeding the post. especially against their smaller guards. good coaching. you adjust your game plan to the opponent and expose their weaknesses.

2. clark brought nice energy on defensive end. the whole team played very good defense. the freshmen especially have been playing good defense. when whit/trawick come in they bring a certain defensive intensity. we lose offense but i will take it. these kids enjoy playing on both ends of the court and that is good to see.

3. Have to focus better on FTs. that's all it is. we know these kids can hit them. now that we are driving more than past years we will get to the line a lot more. have to make the other teams pay. it kept us in the game.

4. if not for rebounding we may have lost the last 3 games. tremendous improvement in that area. defense and rebounding should never take nights off. they will keep us in games if we continue to excel in those areas.
