For our guys in Dallas, this was their first time watching Tre. Not sure how tall he is. Going give him a smidge over 6’. He plays good team ball and is a heady player. The guys like him and say he is a solid 4 year college player. Don’t see the athleticism or uber talent to a future lotto pick, but that is fine. Every program needs solid guards. His focus needs to be on improving his handle. He really needs to develop a handle that has the ball on a yoyo. Since he is not very big, he is going to have to get past defenders with ball handling skills. He did not shoot much, but he needs to add the pull-up and floater into his game as it is going to be hard for him to get all the way to the basket against college defenses. Also, needs to MAKE 500-1000 shots per day. Over-all the guys like him. Good attitude. Plays hard. He is going to be solid, but also he is not going to scare off any elite guard talents in the 2015 class. The other good thing is that this ensures that Hefer Rivera will never run the PG, at least not as the primary PG.
