No bad deed goes unrewarded. I haven't read up on all the details yet, but yeah, that's a whole lot of jack. And I hear he will still have an interest in the parking lots, although hopefully not a controlling interest .

No bad deed goes unrewarded. I haven't read up on all the details yet, but yeah, that's a whole lot of jack. And I hear he will still have an interest in the parking lots, although hopefully not a controlling interest .The irony is that one of the low level investors with the Dodger acquisition is peter gruber a cus grad. So you have a Hoya (McCourt) selling to a cus. Say what you about McCourt, but that Hoya just came up. He bought the team for 400M and flipped it for 2B. So once everything is clear he will probably pocket 500-650M. NICE! Since he is in need of good PR, and I am sure he is feeling jovial, this would be a good time for the Chair of the Georgetown Board of Directors Mr. Tagliabue, or Mr. Leonsis to give his fellow profranchise owner a call. Heck, Ms McCourt may be feeling generous too. Didn't know that Guber was a Syracuse grad. I know that he and Magic have had some business dealings in the past.I certainly hope you're right about McDoosh doing something for Georgetown. If he forks up enough cash to build the new athletic center, I'll forgive him his trespasses. BTW, it's worth noting that his acquisition of the Dodgers was pretty much totally leveraged. He put up nothing (or next to nothing) out of his own pocket.
